22 Years Since Ben Curtis’ Open Win—Still Making an Impact
In 2003, Ben Curtis shocked the golf world by winning the British Open in his first major appearance. That victory launched a 15-year PGA Tour career, including four wins and a spot on the 2008 Ryder Cup Team.
In 2013, Ben and his wife Candace founded the Ben Curtis Family Foundation to fight childhood hunger in their hometown of Kent, Ohio. Their Birdie Bag program now serves 15 school districts across Northeast Ohio, providing kids with meals and snacks for weekends, breaks, and summer. BCFF also hosts A Very Merry Dinner, delivering holiday meals and personalized gifts to over 800 children and families. Click here to learn more about BCFF.
